“Vacation”

 

Ever sat through an old-fashioned vacation slide show?

“Here’s the beach… here’s the sunset… here’s the food…”

This Sunday’s sermon may feel a little like that.

After spending a week in Roatan, I came home realizing that some unexpected spiritual lessons were hiding in snorkeling reefs, winding island roads, curious monkeys, and breathtaking sunsets.

Jesus once spoke about a crossroads in life where every person must choose a direction. His words in Luke 9 are challenging, even uncomfortable.

Yet they reveal something profound: the road to life always passes through surrender.

Join us this Sunday as we continue The Road of the Redeemed and arrive at Mile-Marker Four: The Crossroads of Surrender.

And yes… there may be a few vacation slides involved.
