“Parade Moments”

 

There’s something powerful about a parade.

The anticipation. The excitement. The moment when the crowd leans in to see who is coming.

Palm Sunday is one of the most dramatic “parade moments” in Scripture.

Crowds gathered. Voices lifted. Branches waved.

A King was coming.

But not the kind of king they expected.

And not the kind of entrance anyone would have planned.

This Sunday, we arrive at Mile-Marker Six on The Road of the Redeemed: The Gate of the King.

It turns out this moment is about more than a city.

It’s about something much closer to home.
