Thursday’s Thoughts from Pastor David!
"You Never Know Who's Watching..."
I wonder if Noah ever imagined that one day his name would be listed among the greatest heroes of the faith.
Or Abraham.
Or Sarah.
Or Moses.
My guess is... they never gave it a thought.
They weren't trying to become famous.
They weren't trying to make history.
They were simply trying to be faithful.
One step.
One act of obedience.
One "yes" at a time.
Hebrews 11 isn't a hall of celebrities.
It's a hall of ordinary people who trusted an extraordinary God.
They followed when they couldn't see the destination.
They obeyed when it didn't make sense.
They remained when others walked away.
They lingered in God's presence.
They abided when the waiting seemed endless.
They simply kept saying "yes."
It makes me wonder...
What if the greatest thing you ever do isn't the spectacular moment everyone notices, but the quiet act of faithfulness that only God sees?
The conversation no one applauds.
The prayer no one hears.
The kindness no one remembers.
The integrity no one rewards.
Faithfulness has a way of echoing far beyond the moment.
Perhaps someone is watching your life more closely than you realize.
A child.
A grandchild.
A friend.
A coworker.
Or perhaps heaven itself is taking notice.
This Sunday we'll step into the opening verses of what has often been called The Hall of Faith.
Before we arrive, ask yourself one simple question:
If my life were remembered for one act of faith, what would I want it to be?
Then today...
Take one more faithful step.
You never know what God may do with it.
Grace and peace,
Laugh often and Fear not!
David!
