Thursday’s Thoughts from Pastor David!
There’s a moment every Sunday that’s easy to miss… if we’re not looking for it.
Worship ends. Conversations begin. And then—like clockwork—the children move.
They run.
They laugh.
They gather.
Not because we told them to.
But because something in them says, “This is a place I want to be.”
And right now… that place is a parking lot.
But what if it didn’t have to be?
What if the laughter had a space designed for it?
What if the running led somewhere safe, welcoming, and joy-filled?
What if the next generation didn’t just “make do”… but felt like they truly belonged?
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me…”
Not carefully. Not cautiously.
But freely. Joyfully. Fully.
This Sunday night, we’re going to talk about what it could look like to take those words seriously in a brand new way at MVPC.
Not just an idea.
Not just a project.
A vision.
A vision for families.
A vision for connection.
A vision for the future of this church we love.
And here’s the truth…
Some of the most important conversations in the life of a church don’t happen on Sunday morning.
They happen when people show up, lean in, and begin to imagine together what God might do next.
So come join us.
Sunday Night | 6:00 PM
Fellowship Hall at MVPC
(Pizza and salad included—because no great vision ever started on an empty stomach!)
Come curious.
Come hopeful.
Come ready to see what might be possible.
Because the future of MVPC may just look a little more like laughter… than we ever imagined.
Grace and peace,
Laugh Often and Fear Not!
David
