Thursday’s Thoughts - The Sacred Art of Sitting Still

We live in a Martha world—multitasking, overthinking, rushing, fixing. But Jesus says, “Only one thing is necessary.”

Let us reclaim the holy art of sitting still.
Of listening deeply.
Of being fully present with Jesus… and with each other.

The kitchen can wait.
The inbox can wait.
Even the sermon prep can wait (well, for a few more minutes!).

This week, let’s practice sacred stillness.
It’s not laziness. It’s not apathy.
It’s discipleship at the feet of the Savior.

Let us choose what is better.
And let it not be taken from us.

See you Sunday!

Grace and peace,
Laugh often and Fear not!
David

Ps - Luke 10: 38-42 - Jesus dines with Martha and Mary will be the focus of our sermon this week
