Thursday’s Thoughts from Pastor David!

“They Died at the Offering Plate…”

It’s not exactly the warm-and-fuzzy story you expect to hear in church.

But Acts 5 opens with two people lying to God about their “offering” and falling over dead. 

By Acts 6, we’ve got healings in the streets, apostles in jail, angels busting them out, and the birth of the first deacons.

In the early church, holiness wasn’t optional, service wasn’t beneath anyone, and boldness wasn’t rare.

Maybe the Spirit is still looking for people like that.
