Thursday’s Thoughts from Pastor David!

Your Prayer has been heard.

This week we step into the story of Zechariah and Elizabeth — two faithful saints who lived with a long wait and a quiet heaven. Luke tells us they were righteous, faithful, and blameless, yet still waiting for the miracle they longed for.

Their story reminds us that waiting isn’t a sign of God’s disappointment — it’s often a sign of God’s preparation.

The angel’s words to Zechariah are powerful:
“Your prayer has been heard.”
Not the prayer he prayed yesterday, but the one he prayed decades earlier.

This week, let’s ask ourselves:
What prayer did we give up praying?
Where do we feel stuck in silence?
What longing have we quietly buried?

In God’s waiting room, silence is not absence.
Delay is not denial.
And the God who remembers their prayers remembers ours.

Grace and peace,
Laugh Often and Fear not!
David!
